OLA EVERYONE!!!
No idea, how many of you will be reading this. But I have decided to take my old website down since it is very OUTDATED, and was not user friendly for updates. I am now going to try this “blogging” thing everybody is talking about.
I have many of my teammates that have amazing blogs…. but I just want to make it clear that I am just trying to have updates as I go, and pictures of what I see. My next big thing is the VANCOUVER OLYMPICS….. which I am absolutely PUMPED ABOUT! I really have to try and use another description because it doesn’t really describe exactly how I feel. The qualifying process for these games seemed a lot harder then 4 years ago… probably since in 2006 I was still so young, and really not thinking too much… just throwing myself down the mountain. I obviously still try and do the same, but for some reason – “older the wiser” is true….
I am currently at home getting rested up before I head to Nakiska, Alberta for some training prior to my races in Whistler. I love sleeping in my own bed, waking up whenever I want, and I seem to be dragging all morning till I have a coffee. It won’t last too long since I will be heading to Calgary at the end of the week. But as for now…. I’m loving being home. Cooking my own food. My boyfriend, Mike, is currently on the road, so that can make it pretty quiet in the house.
Check back soon – Brigitte
I am trying to add pictures – but for some reason it’s not working so I’ll try when I get it figured out.

Congratulations Brigitte. We were at the cottage for the week. We were over at the Zubyck’s all Friday afternoon and saw both of your runs and your interview. We were thrilled with your performance. You really excited the commentator who talked about you over and over and over again. We so enjoyed seeing our wonderful niece doing so well.
We are now back home in time for the hockey game. Everything has been so emotional and wonderful.
We are so proud of you. Your poster was up in the office. I am looking forward to hearing the many comments from the office.
With our love
Gordon and Linda
